Education leader with more than two decades of experience as a teacher, principal, and central office administrator. Driving educational excellence as the Director of Curriculum in the Francis Howell School District. Former high school principal, associate principal, and assistant principal with a strong foundation in curriculum development, academic leadership, school improvement, PLC practices, strategic planning, and school supervision. Adept at building and optimizing systems to enhance learning outcomes. Strong communicator, strategic thinker, system builder, project manager, engaging speaker, and skilled presenter. With a career including effective classroom teaching, successful school improvement planning, and strategic district leadership in some of the best schools in Missouri, I am committed to shaping the future of education. Under my direction, teams have dramatically improved college and career readiness outcomes, including AP performance, apprenticeships, job shadowing opportunities, and early college programming. I lead a team of content leaders to develop and revise curriculum and resources for more than 300 classes, annually managing a budget of more than $5 million. I have led 8 secondary schools and their principals through developing, implementing, and evaluating school improvement plans. Schools under my direction routinely rank in the top 5% of the state. I built the most robust early college program in the State of Missouri, annually helping hundreds of students earn college credits. Under my leadership, several students have earned associate's degrees before high school graduation. I have extensive experience navigating virtual instruction, partnering with multiple vendors to meet students’ needs. I have developed one of the most expansive summer programs in the state, serving more than students while consistently running a budget surplus.
