About Lucas Mann

I‘m a graduated business engineer, currently working as Technical Sales Engineer at Brenntag (Rubber), located in Essen (HQ). In my current job, I try to find the best possible solution for customers in the rubber industry in order to build long-term,successful business relationships with them. I previously worked in R&D at Pirelli, where i was involved in material development. I was responsible for the homologation of compound materials as well as auxiliary materials to maintain and improve the production processes. The job i did required me to work a lot with other business units which leads me to have close contacts and synergies with Quality, Purchasing, Process, Production, Production Planning etc. I also wrote my Master‘s thesis on process development at Pirelli and completed it with top grade (1,0) During my studies, i built up a comprehensive mindset of both technical and economic subjects. I‘ve always liked contact with people, which is a big part of my current job in particular.
