About Lucas Martinez

I am a first generation college grad who majored in Communications with a minor in Sociology. I first got curious about marketing through my Introduction to Advertising class in college. This sparked my interest and led me to obtain a Marketing Communication Assistant internship. This allowed me to gain hands-on experience in media marketing and media planning. I developed skills in media management, campaign planning, and media tracking through monthly performance summaries. This experience sparked my drive for becoming a digital marketing creative, where I enjoy bringing projects to life from concept to completion. Eager to learn more, I enrolled in the COOP Careers Digital Marketing Track, gaining foundational skills and practical experience through immersive workshops. I am gaining a strong understanding of Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic Marketing. This is helping me develop my soft skills such as strong communication, professional development, and industry knowledge across the marketing umbrella. I am passionate about Digital Marketing, curating an environment where creatives, strategy, and data intersect. I am currently focused on Programmatic Marketing and actively building the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the data-driven marketing field. Along with that, I’m a huge foodie who loves exploring the incredible variety of food New York City has to offer. I enjoy discovering new restaurants and experiencing different cultures through their food.
