About Lucas McMahon
Graduated from Nova Scotia Community College with Honors in Mechanical Engineering Technology in 2012. Accepted a job with Focal Technologies in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia after a 4 week work term, duties included building and testing Fiber optic rotary joints. In September 2014 I accepted a job with Schlumberger Artificial Lift in Edmonton, Alberta. Completed training courses on Electric Submersible Pump systems as well as Variable Frequency Drives. Duties included installing ESP systems, starting ESP systems, and troubleshooting VSD's while upholding Schlumberger's safety standards. In May of 2021, I accepted a position with Westquip Diesel Sales in Acheson, Alberta as the application engineer and to help out with sales. Day to day duties include sales calls, troubleshooting, design and fabrication of new generator builds, managing the Shindaiwa line of generators and designating builds to the production team. I accept any new tasks and responsibilities passed my way and strive to succeed no matter what I am faced with that day.
