About Lucas Nilsson

I have worked in the sports industry for over 25 years. I have played football at elite level in the clubs Djurgårdens IF and Kalmar FF. I am a sports consultant and have worked with development issues as a consultant at Swedish sport organisation for over 9 years. After that, I worked 3 years with sports development as a leisure developer in Kalmar municipality. From February 2019 I am employed as sports manager for youth in allsvenska Kalmar FF and now Academy Director. Everything I have done and do is about development. Partly with the development of myself as a football player partly with the development of other people and their organizations, companies and associations. Now I work as head of coaching in Djurgårdens IF academy U16-U19 Min bakgrund finns inom idrotten där jag varit verksam i över 25 år. Jag har spelat fotboll på elitnivå i klubbarna Djurgårdens IF och Kalmar FF. Jag är utbildad idrottskonsulent och har jobbat med utvecklingsfrågor som konsulent på Smålandsidrotten i över nio år. Efter det jobbade jag 3 år med idrottsutveckling som fritidsutvecklare på Kalmar kommun. Från februari 2019 är jag anställd som akademichef i allsvenska Kalmar FF. Allt jag gjort och gör handlar om utveckling. Dels med utvecklingen av mig själv som fotbollsspelare dels med utveckling av andra människor och deras organisationer, företag och föreningar. Nu jobbar jag som utvecklingschef i Djurgårdens akademi P16-P19
