About Lucas Paiola

QA Software Automation Engineer Hi, I'm Lucas. I’ve been working in the Software Quality field as a QA for 3 years and hold a degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). I have experience with both manual and automated testing, covering mobile applications and APIs. I’ve worked on mobile test automation projects using Java, Selenium, and Selenide. In addition, I’ve participated in API automation projects using JavaScript and Jest, as well as others using Java and RestAssured. Currently, I work as a QA at Startaideia and I'm assigned to the Sicredi project, in the insurance area. In this role, I perform manual frontend mobile testing using BrowserStack and manual API testing with Postman, as well as backend API automation using Java, JUnit, and RestAssured. I was responsible for building the test automation project from scratch, significantly reducing regression test execution time. In my day-to-day, I use Zephyr and Jira to manage test cases and track bugs. I’m always focused on bringing quality into the development process from the earliest stages and continuously working to improve team workflows to ensure a high-quality final product is delivered to users.
