About Lucas Siebert

I am a highly accomplished educational leader who has built an extensive track record of success throughout my career delivering exceptional technical education and career programming in both Director and Secondary/College Instructor roles. One of my core strengths is my ability to build and foster strategic partnerships with businesses, industry organizations, and post-secondary institutions to create powerful networks that offer an array of exciting opportunities for my programs and students. That has been demonstrated in both my current Director role and prior experience as a high-performance teacher at the secondary and college level. Over my seven years teaching at Oostburg High School alone, I built partnerships with major companies such as Leudtke Electric; A&G machine; Voskuil Machine Co, LLC; Dutchland Plastics; Oostburg Concrete Products; and Vollrath Corporation to name a few. After my teaching career, I became Director of Career Technical Education for the Delta Schoolcraft ISD in 2012 where my leadership skills have been on full display. In addition to building strategic partnerships, I have showcased my grant writing, organizational development, curriculum development, and program management abilities while building a first-class organization. Since I took on the role, we have expanded from 300 students to over 600 currently enrolled while I have successfully maintained/balanced a $3.2M operating budget and retained a 24% fund balance. Other select highlights include: Writing and delivering 61b(8) grants for $70K in 2016,$48K in 2017, and over $48K in 2018. Transforming the CTE culture to create a more positive environment by partnering with a wide range of stakeholders to implement a standards-based grading system. Championing and overseeing the successful construction of a new Pre-Engineering Fabrication Laboratory. No matter the role, I am a champion for organizational success and growth with the ability to deliver exceptional results.
