Hi everyone, I'm Lucas.a quick-witted student with a studious work ethic. I'm able to effectively time manage, plan ahead, problem solve, and use my inquisitive nature to collaborate with others. I'm working towards my Bachelor's degree in Criminology at UofT Mississauga, and am intrigued in pursuing careers within the fields of office/medical centre administration, policing/law enforcement, and the social service sector (Personal Support Work and/or Educational Support Work)! I have crafted, and continue to strengthen my customer service and advising skills through serving as a Student Support Assistant with the Office of the Registrar at the University of Toronto Mississauga. This experience has me geared towards working in both virtual and in-person settings. This role requires me to assist others in both short & long-term planning, help others overcome roadblocks/adversity by responding to incoming questions regarding academic course enrolment, program types, residence & student life, financial aid options/opportunities including OSAP, etc. in a fast-paced environment; facilitate webinars, refer students to the best-suited resources to address their individual concerns, while also guiding students through the process of exploring alternate pathways suited to their special circumstances and aspirations.
