About Lucia Monchi

I am a Jr. Project Accountant at Live Nation Entertainment, recently graduated in Marketing and Operational Logistics at the UBC Sauder School of Business. In my undergrad, I have demonstrated academic dedication by receiving the Trek Excellence Scholarship for being in the top 5% of my graduating class and receiving the top grade in my business law section. Along my academic journey, I have created strong connections with professors and students while being a Teaching Assistant for various undergraduate courses. My passion for business and entertainment led me to become the first accounting intern at Live Nation Canada, where I made contributions in both the operational and financial accounting divisions. I further enhanced my interest in data analysis working in finance and operations at viaSport. I then entered the world of project management with PHSA helping procure medical equipment for both BC Women’s and Children’s hospital. As the Vice-President of Marketing for the UBC Jazz Club, I gained exposure in marketing by managing all of the club's campaigns to increase overall engagement. While determining my career path, I strive to find opportunities to problem solve and create positive working environments.
