Strong accounting professional with a Bachelor's of Science in Radiologic Technology from Midwestern State University. As confusing as that last sentence could have been, let me give you insight on how my transition from science to accounting came to life. In a time for a change, I was going through a transition period from clinic to hospital, and thanks to my skill for detail, I was approached with an opportunity to join a team in the construction industry as a PO admin. Working in a new environment and desk setting, I soon realized my passion for numbers and organization skills. Being presented with a new opportunity to join the accounting team, I accepted the offer and have been working on my accounting techniques since. I am currently still a licensed radiologic technologist and use my expertise part time in orthopedics, while adding knowledge and opportunities to my accounting capabilities full time.
