About Lucile Biarrotte
A graduate of the École Normale Supérieure in Paris with a degree in geography and a PhD in urban planning from Université Paris-Est, I combine academic expertise in urban planning and gender studies with hands-on experience in managing inclusive urban projects and public consultation processes. Since 2021, as a Consulting Director at TraitClair, I have led around forty urban planning consultation projects across diverse territories- Public spaces in the City of Paris: Denfert-Rochereau, Catalonia, Félix Eboué, Colonel Fabien squares, Canal St-Martin, and other cities in the Paris region: Le Mail Coeur de Ville in Vélizy-Villacoublay- Urban Renewal neighborhoods in Angers (Monplaisir), Les Vergnes in Clermont-Ferrand, Le Londeau in Noisy-le-Sec- Social housing estates (Bourg-la-Reine)- Real estate projects in the Orléans and Tours regions- Other consultation projects: terrace charter in Vertou; Multimodal exchange hub in Fougères. In addition, I have developed a consulting, training, and urban social studies practice focused on integrating gender issues into urban planning and development: Gender-focused Environmental Impact Studies for the City of Paris in collaboration with architect-urban planner Anne Labroille: studies of the Maine-Montparnasse and Porte de la Villette neighborhoods; Analysis of the Local Mobility Plan; Numerous awareness-raising conferences and training sessions, including with the Eurométropole de Strasbourg; Gender Equality Project Management Assistance for the revision of the master plan for the Londeau neighborhood in Noisy-le-Sec and on Wattwiller Street in Strasbourg; Equal-Use Project Management Assistance for the Oasis schoolyards in the City of Strasbourg.
