About Lucy Arrington

I'm an accounting student at Western Kentucky University, gaining practical experience in quasi-government operations and financial management. I currently work as an accountant with Reworks Electric, where I manage bookkeeping and financial planning, and as a finance intern at the Barren River Area Development District (BRADD), where I help with financial reporting. I am building a solid basis in accounting principles, problem-solving techniques, and strategic decision-making thanks to these hands-on responsibilities. In addition to my work experience, I have a strong interest in effectiveness, planning, and lifelong learning. I work best in positions that push me to evaluate intricate data and make a lasting impact. Knowing my work makes a difference is so encouraging! Outside of accounting, I am a published writer with a deep appreciation for storytelling. I've published one novel, with the hopes of many more to follow! I also value self-sufficiency and sustainability, which I try to incorporate into my daily life. My long-term goal is to grow both professionally and personally, leveraging my skills to make a meaningful impact in my local community.
