I have applied Ableton & Logic for MIDI & Audio sequencing techniques, recorded and edited MIDI information on the DAW creating compositional work, generative music (using Sampler, MIDI FX and Wavetable), and for studio production. I’ve used drum synthesis using Operator, generating kick, snares & hi-hats samples. Also I’ve created multi instrument software samplers, including importing samples, key mapping, velocity layering and assigning modulation (LFO / Envelopes). Additionally using my keyboard as a MIDI controller recording into Ableton. I’ve utilised Ableton’s Push hardware creating loops, layering sounds with drum rack step-sequencing and triggering samples. I’m particularly interested in AI algorithms and its evolving trends such as AI Music and Art Generators, with accessibility to Virtual Reality Technology, Social Media, Motion Art Work and Sync Licensing. Also, with a background in performance arts, I make experimental films which I’d incorporate these visuals into performance, along with using Ableton as an audio-visual instrument with Ebo Suite, and trying different audio-visual mods like Ganz Graf Mod X 1.0. I have a huge interest in Psychoacoustics, in particular I’m fond of the work by Oliver Sacks, in his book “Musicophilia'' where he explores the brain and its relationship to music. In furthering my academic studies, I’m exploring sound perception and audiology; including speech, music and other sound frequencies.
