What I do. I am a specialist surety lawyer working with sureties and brokers in the UK, Europe and US. As part of the Surety team, I advise on a range of matters including advising on specific bond wordings, facility terms, recourse and security packages, distress scenarios and claims. I co-lead the Surety Team at Mills & Reeve with Justin Hennessey.* Why do I work at Mills & Reeve. I enjoy working with my clients in the many varied and often complex projects and transactions where surety instruments are used. I am keen to apply my specialist knowledge to find new and commercial solutions to meet bonding/guarantee requirements, often to tight timetables. When not at work I can be found learning how to play golf, cold water swimming or on the slopes attempting not to break any bones!
