About Lucy Donaghy

I am working as a Trainee Clinical Scientist in Genetics at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH) in Glasgow analysing data from genetic tests. I have previously worked as a Healthcare Scientist Practitioner at QEUH and as an Associate Scientist 2 in Merck Bioreliance in the molecular lab to GMP/GLP regulations, and prior to that I worked as a Medical Technical Officer in the molecular genetics section of Cambridge University Hospital Addenbrooke’s. I have an MSc Medical Genetics and Genomics from the University of Glasgow where I did an NHS audit analysing the data from referral numbers and pick-up rate and completed the MVLS Graduate Skills Award. I have a BSc in Biomedical Science from Robert Gordon University and for my honours research project I analysed the effect of tea extracts on breast cancer cells.
