About Lucy Griffiths

I am a highly experienced Acupuncturist, Clinical Supervisor, educator and business manager. A pioneer of Traditional Chinese Medicine as a primary career path, I was the youngest person in the UK to hold a B.Sc in TCM at the time of my graduation in 2002 and have managed my own successful clinic since then, until its sale in 2018 as part of my move to Nova Scotia, Canada. Passionate about promoting health education and committed to professional excellence in all aspects of healthcare and customer service. My current position of Dean of Acupuncture requires excellent multi-tasking, time management and communication skills. Well versed in liasing with NS Public Health to create and execute Covid-19 Operational Plans for private Career Colleges, Community Clinical practice and Private Acupuncture Sector. This includes ongoing Covid protocol management for over 150 individuals, as well as updating professional practitioners of Public Health changes through my voluntary role as Standards of Practice Director for the largest TCM professional association in NS. Prior to leaving the UK, The People's Daily Newspaper in China published my article on Acupuncture in the UK and data from my groundbreaking 10 years working in the NHS has been collated for presentation at research conferences. For 10 years I held the voluntary role as Regional Group Coordinator for the British Acupuncture Council which required excellent communication, time management and organisational skills to manage practitioners across a wide range of the country. I aspire to dedicated professionalism at all times.
