About Lucy Hicks

I graduated from the University of Georgia in May 2010 with a degree in Advertising from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. I have gained experience in all of my classes that have allowed me to think creatively and outside of the box, with experience in Marketing Research, Brand Management, Media Planning, Marketing Strategy, and Team Management. I was also very heavily involved in on-campus activities, including Greek Life, UGA’s Panhellenic, Relay for Life and PRSSA. I have had many leadership opportunities, holding two executive council positions (Vice President of Member Development and Vice President of Operations) of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority and the Public Relations committee of Relay for Life. I have also gained experience in Public Relations after interning at GlobalFluency. I gained experience creating media lists and editorial calendars for GlobalFluency’s clients, researching media outlets to pitch for clients and assisted the Senior Director of Media Relations with press materials. Through my experience in my classes, my extracurricular activities, and my internship I am looking forward to starting my career in the Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations field.
