About Lucy Jerram

Large Animal Director at Highfield Veterinary Group overseeing clinical and business decisions alongside mentoring younger vets. I am a European Specialist in Bovine Health Management - one of only a small number to work outside of academia or research. Prior to moving to Ireland I worked in a large, progressive, ambulatory farm practice in the South of England as well as with University of Surrey. I work efficiently and am dedicated to providing an integrated service to clients to ensure high standards of health and welfare on farm. My residency research foci were cattle welfare, automatic milking systems and diagnostic testing decision making. I am passionate about supporting farm vets in remaining in practice as well as encouraging veterinary students to consider farm veterinary medicine as a career.
