About Lucy Kaufman
On career day in fifth grade, I told my class that someday I would cure disease around the world. As time passed, that dream evolved. Currently, I am a third-year public health major at BYU with an emphasis in health science. After graduation, I plan to attend medical school and become a physician. Because of my background in public health, I am passionate about epidemiology, medical geography, and supporting historically underserved populations. This foundation is helping me develop a more well-rounded worldview, and a desire to help facilitate more equitable healthcare for all Americans and individuals living across the globe. I am thrilled that my public health background and medical training will allow me become the professional that my younger self could only dream of becoming.
