As a graduate of Kingston School of Art in Graphic Design, my journey has been driven by a deep passion for visual storytelling and meticulous craftsmanship. My practice has given me a clear understanding of my interests within the design world, particularly in book design—a fascination that is fully showcased in my portfolio. Professional Highlights- Book Design & Craftsmanship: I take pride in hand-making each of my publications, emphasizing the importance of tactile practice. My expertise in bookbinding and printmaking has allowed me to develop a keen eye for detail, resulting in aesthetically pleasing and professionally crafted pieces- Conceptual Thinking: Specific details within a subject form the core of my project concepts. By connecting personally with each brief, I strive to create evocative and memorable designs that resonate on a deeper level- Industry Experience: I have had the pleasure of working with notable companies such as FranklinTill, Converse and The Drop Date, and I have created a portfolio of creative decks for Nike Inc. These experiences have enriched my skills and expanded my understanding of brand identity and visual communication- Design Philosophy: Thinking through making is at the heart of my projects. I believe that being tactile within my practice is vital to achieving great outcomes. Each project I undertake is a blend of creativity and functionality, driven by a hands-on approach.
