I’m CEO and Co-Founder of Black Spark, where we've developed the most powerful and efficient technology to destroy PFAS. In short, PFAS is going to be the most costly water pollution crisis of our time. These dangerous chemicals are nearly impossible to break down, have severe health and environmental impacts, and are found in high concentrations at tens of thousands of sites across the country. Current PFAS remediation technologies are either incomplete, ineffectual or prohibitively expensive. Through a serendipitous confluence of physical phenomena, our technology manages to provide a complete and economical solution. Gunnar Stratton, my Co-Founder and CTO invented the first iteration of this plasma-based PFAS remediation technology while earning his Ph.D. in chemical engineering.
