About Lucy McKay
I will be completing my speech pathology degree in November of this year and am beyond excited to commence a career within the field working with a paediatric and adult population with diverse needs. Over the course of my degree I have immersed myself in multiple job roles relevant to my degree. I have developed a keen interest in working with Autistic children and implementing therapy relevant to their needs and family goals. I have gained immense knowledge in the area of Gestalt Language Processing (GLP), AAC, language and speech sound therapy. Initially I always believed that I wanted to work with a paediatric population, however, following my completion of adult placement at the Alfred hospital, I thoroughly enjoyed this and would love to further my knowledge and expertise with this population.
