Thirty years’ social development experience spanning the non-profit and corporate sectors – with donors, IFIs (World Bank, GEF, IFC and Asian Development Bank, KfW, MUFG, AIIB), multilateral agencies (ILO, UNDP, UNAIDS), bilaterals (DFAT, DFID), NGO/CBOs and private companies. · Expertise in social analysis and stakeholder engagement; community and civil society development; indigenous and traditional knowledge systems; environmental and social impact assessment, safeguards, risk and impact mitigation; poverty and social inclusion; conservation and community-based natural resource management; facilitation, training and capacity strengthening. · Proven project management skills; planning and design, monitoring, evaluation and compliance, safeguards. Strong in written communication including proposal / report preparation and presentation, corporate reporting, executive reporting, annual reports, monitoring frameworks, compliance and assurance processes. Capacity for big picture and attention to detail. Leading and working in teams. · Thematic experience addressing poverty reduction; agriculture, environmental conservation (forest and marine), indigenous peoples, health and HIV/AIDS, education, public infrastructure (dams, irrigation, waste management, urban planning), governance, population ageing and workforce/labour issues including migration, and HSE/climate change related areas including climate adaptation or adaptive approaches. · Extensive experience in the non-profit sector, having supported international and local NGO in diverse capacities, mostly focused on conservation and natural resource management, and supporting public sector agencies on basic service delivery, often in remote contexts. · Extensive experience in the private sector, particularly in natural resources and extractive industries, having designed, planned, implemented and evaluated numerous processes and interventions for the energy sector in Asia and the Pacific, working to international financier requirements (IFC Performance Standards, WB ESF, ADB and AIIB frameworks, Equator Principles). · Professional development has included training in social behavior change, human rights, conflict resolution, public speaking and facilitation. Lucy has also completed diverse, compulsory UN training courses for example in: Workplace Gender and Equality; SEAH; Ethics, Integrity, Fraud and Anti-Corruption; Cyber Security; Workplace and Travel Safety and Security; and HSE. She is a certified meditation and breathwork teacher and also facilitates workshops in Authentic Relating.
