About Lucy Moore

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist #119685 Hi! Welcome to my practice. My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-aware, affirmative, person-centered and holistic. I am queer, kink-aware, and consensual non-monogamy informed with training to work with gender spectrum and transgender folx. I also identify as sex worker supportive in my practice. I center my work with attachment theory and I am passionate about helping clients gain awareness around their everyday choices and relationships to foster growth. In the room, I am warm, non-judgmental, and will provide both tools for coping with life stressors and a safe space to explore difficult topics. My practice is informed and guided by current research and evidence-based practice in Emotionally-Focused therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Somatic Experiencing. I incorporate mindfulness-based practices and support my work with current research in neuroscience. I frame my practice around social and sexual justice. I offer couples therapy as well as individual therapy through my private practice in Oakland and San Francisco. Currently all sessions are virtual for the time being.
