About Lucy Nguyen

Everyone on this world has a unique story to tell - this is mine. With the love for everything tech, I've progressed through different realms of IT and have loved every part of my journey so far. From kick starting my career as the value added “glue” within the channel, I then went on to safe guarding companies from cyber villains before going full cycle back to the agency who placed me in my first corporate role. My love for sales grew stronger everyday throughout my recruitment career. It's true when they say being a recruiter, it's like "champagne and razor blades" but what balanced that out for me is, I love sales and I'm passionate about the industry I'm in - that being tech. I love it so much so, I went into an internal acquisition position into Qualtrics to support APJ stakeholders with their growth plans for not only sales, post-sales, marketing but also expanded my stills on technical and operational recruitment. Since going on the other side of the fence, I can now see first hand the impact the candidates I place have within the organisation which is the most fulfilling part of my role. Outside of work, I keep things pretty low key to wind-down from the work week. I would probably find me hanging out with my husband and daughter at the park, having the occasional social outings with the family & friends or eating - I do alot of that, I can't help it.
