About Lucy Robert

Lucy Robert, CFA, Practice Director in BlackRock's London office, responsible for ensuring the timeliness/quality of key market risk products (market data and CCR validation, VaR production), member of BlackRock's Group Corporate Strategy Group, responsible for setting strategic priorities at the corporate level, working with senior business leaders to develop and execute strategy with a focus on the firm's investment function. I am someone who is always looking for new challenges as I usually question things and always want to learn, especially when testing new things. An important aspect of this learning process is interacting with others in order to discuss, combine and transfer knowledge and experience and to come up with new solutions and insights together. As a result, I have gained a great deal of knowledge and skills over the years. But also technical knowledge and many other aspects related to structuring scope, approving and realising such deals (as well as other negotiation skills). I have always worked in project teams and can therefore bring my excellent organisational and planning skills to bear on complex and time-critical projects. My passion for long distance running can also be seen in the form of good preparation in terms of focus on long term goals, discipline, long term motivation, endurance and setting stopping points/milestones in such projects. My favourite goal to achieve in a team sets great value for communication in the form of regular information exchange and feedback. I like to take responsibility for my team and not shy away from making decisions.
