About Lucy Scott

Hi! My name is Lucy. I'm a Learning & Development professional at Mountain Warehouse. I could insert a story here from my childhood which accounts for why this was always my destiny; something about bringing home extra worksheets from class and a jumbo-sized whiteboard. Although that is true it is not how I ended up here. I found my purpose at the intersection between my skills and personal hobbies. Growing up and working in an international setting has led to the growth of interpersonal skills including: communication, collaboration and creativity. I decided to qualify these skills with an MA in Education at UCL. I also care deeply about helping others; this manifests itself in knowledge sharing. As a child that knowledge was almost always about my favourite subject - History. I again decided to qualify this hobby with a History BA from the University of York. Thanks to my habit of professionalising my strengths, I have been able to make a career out of what drives me - learning and teaching. I have created, designed and developed learning projects across many different sectors for international businesses including Technology, Retail, Education and Government. The best thing about my job? I never stop learning. I can converse on the intricacies of biometric technologies, the import coding system in the UK, and data regulation and protection in the Microsoft Office Suite, among other things. If these topics are not your thing - reach out, and I’d love to learn more about what you do and what we may be able to learn from each other.
