At Safaricom PLC, as a Senior Officer in Cyber Security Governance, Risk & Control, my focus is on fortifying digital assets against emerging cyber threats. This involves collaborating with the Enterprise Risk Management team to update security protocols and ensuring adherence to both internal and global standards, as well as Kenyan regulations. With a background in Cyber Security from Strathmore University's Safaricom Digital Academy, I bring a targeted educational foundation to my role. My tenure includes spearheading compliance drives and coordinating stakeholder engagement to achieve critical business outcomes. The competencies honed over the past years, notably in cyber risk management and IT security operations, are integral to my mission of securing the telecommunications infrastructure.
