About Lucy Stout

Passionate Environmentalist | Specializing in Communications & Digital Marketing With my dual degree in Environmental Studies and Art and Design, I bring a blend of ecological insight and creativity to my role as a Communication and Program Coordinator for a state wide transportation non-profit, focussing on advocating for sustainable and active modes of transportation. In my current role, I coordinate our vanpool program and lead communications efforts for three key initiatives: Commute Options, Oregon Safe Routes to School, and Oregon Friendly Driver. My responsibilities include developing and executing targeted digital marketing strategies to enhance outreach and engagement for each program. This work spans social media management, website development, copywriting, and other strategic communications efforts. Previously, I have volunteered at the FPG Plant and Animal Sanctuary and worked at Phoenix Farm on habitat restoration, sustainable agriculture, and animal care. These experiences deepened my skills in ecological monitoring and conservation. My experience in outdoor education allowed me to practice skills in administrative support, volunteer management, and program leadership. My commitment to environmental education and advocacy inspires me to educate others about the importance of preserving and protecting our natural world.
