About Lucy van Baarle

I am an Occupational Therapist with blended experience of working with a range of patients and clients of diverse needs within multiple different settings, including hospital and community. I started my career at the Townsville University Hospital and am currently at the Gold Coast University Hospital, where in total I have spent almost four years working as a rotational therapist through various inpatient areas including rehabilitation, acute medical and surgical, and paediatrics. My goal as an Occupational Therapist is to carry out my passion of enabling people to gain independence and find value to their life through occupational engagement. I also aim to maintain a growth mindset and continue to develop my skills and knowledge as a clinician.
