About Ludovic Eber

Supply Chain Management has always been an important topic for me as I am really interested in understanding how companies in different industries plan, source, make and deliver their goods and services. Everything started as I was working in the industry, I wondered how goods where flowing in the company, how things could be improved, and ultimately how the upstream and downstream flows were performing in an effective and efficient way. I am curious and I always try to be up-to-date with best practices in Supply Chain Management around the globe. In fact, ideas can stem from everywhere, as you do not deal with your flows the same way in India and in the US. My business education, both in Europe and in North America allow me to be in line with the paradigm of supply chain: globalization. I have great analytical skills, which are key in this field. I am at ease working independently and equally so with teams. Supply Chain Management's essence stems from globalization as networks went from national to global. The question now is how to plan, source, make and deliver efficiently on a global scale. That is why I believe that the 21st century will be even more global. As trade expands, countries try to develop, capture competitive advantages. Opportunities will wait to be seized whether it is in technology, skills, tax advantages, or labor costs.
