About Ludovic Nicolay

I currently work as a Downstream Technician at UCB in Belgium, within the Biologics Pilot Plant, where I contribute to the development and optimization of new biologic molecules that support innovative treatments. Previously, I worked as a Qualification and Validation Technician at Takeda, where I took pride in contributing to the development of a new downstream production line dedicated to life-saving treatments for people with rare diseases. The opportunity to improve their quality of life is what drives my dedication and commitment to the life sciences industry. I began my career in the pharmaceutical industry in February 2024 as an Associate Purification Technician and quickly progressed to Purification Technician before taking on these subsequent roles. With a bachelor's degree in agronomy and qualities such as rigor, precision, and communication, my objective is to contribute, through life sciences, to shaping a better world.
