About Luigi Borrelli

I'm a Mechanical engineer specialized in automotive sector, during my working experience I've acquired skills about engine's ECU calibration and related software (ETAS INCA, ETAS MDA, ETAS ASCMO, AVL CONCERTO etc.) and hardware. Working as vehicle calibrator at FCA, I've got tecnical competences about the engine's calibration development (fuel consumption and pollutant emissions reduction strategies, Driveability, EOBD diagnosis and other) and more generally about engine's applications. In the last 4 years I started working on hybrid electric applications (High and low voltage systems) Currently I'm lead calibrator for Drivability and Emissions development of Mild Hybrid Small Gasoline Engines. I was graduated in December 2012 (Master Degree) at the University of Naples "Federico II" with the evaluation of 110/110 cum laude (Mechanical Engineer with the address "Energy and Environment") I'm a very inquiring person and I like very much testing and discovering new things especially about my great hobbies: Science and Technology. I love to practice sports, in particular swimming, cycling and football and I trust that the team working is often the way to resolve big problems.
