About Luigi Marchetti
Born in Livorno in 1967, he graduated in Architecture in 1992 at the University of Architecture of Florence. He moved to Milan in 1993 and after various experiences in some architectural offices, the same year he started working with Cibic & Partners, becoming partner in 2002. He develops activities in the fields of the interior design and architecture in Italy and abroad. Selfridges in Birmingham and Manchester, La Rinascente in Milano and Palermo, 10° Architecture Biennale in Venice, multipurpose building complex of in Milano Santa Giulia are some of the major recent works. In May 2010 he starts out his own business founding LMArchitettura, using the experience gained over the years on various projects such as hotels, offices, schools, fashion botiques and private residences. He is also involved in research and charity projects.
