My phone could tell my story. It knows I am a testament to resilience and perseverance. As a Disciplined and flexible Engineering Program Manager and Six Sigma Green Belt with extensive experience in engineering analytics, financial analysis, and stakeholder management, I Demonstrate strong problem-solving and project management skills, attention to detail regarding customer needs, and excellent presentation skills. I also failed in the pursuit of a baseball career. When I was 16 I enrolled in a very respectable engineering program. I left home every morning at 7am to catch the bus to school. Only I always caught the bus going the other direction without anyone knowing. My bag full of baseball essentials, I arrived in the field and refined my craft. Baseball was my passion. I pursued that passion at the risk of disappointing my family and being expelled from school. Both things indeed happened, but the satisfaction of pursuing a dream and learning from it cannot be replaced. It was a complex problem and I gave it my all. Today, As a Technical Program Manager, I have a solid foundation in engineering principles and project management. I've held roles that required devising and managing complex implementation processes, such as the Auxiliary Emission Control Device Discovery Process. This initiative streamlined the identification, evaluation, and documentation of AECDs, enhancing regulatory compliance for Cummins products. My leadership in guiding regulatory submissions and influencing the performance of junior engineers led to significant operational improvements. I implemented several projects aimed at improving emissions, demonstrating a proven track record in full-cycle project management, from project design to delivery. My skills in Six Sigma methods, problem-solving, statistical analytics, and process improvement have enabled me to lead cross-functional teams effectively. I excel at navigating organizational hierarchies, negotiating obstacles, and ensuring that responsibilities and deliverables are met or exceed standards with timeliness and on budget. My bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish further enhances my ability to work in diverse and global environments. I am passionate about driving efficiency and innovation in engineering processes, and I look forward to connecting with like-minded professionals and exploring opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge projects and programs.
