About Luis Alanis

Eager to learn and accept new challenges. I am a south Texas native with a strong background in rapid prototyping testing and research and development who started my professional career in the oil and gas sector for AECOM oil and gas. As a semi skilled labor I was able to develop my skills from everything from concrete civil work to welding to operating heavy equipment. I was in oil and gas construction for a total of 4 and half years then I transitioned into aerospace. With my experience and mentors I had while working in the aerospace sector I was able to learn a great deal working with planning and engineering and specialty tools and aerospace standards. I also hold experience with the telecommunications industry specifically fiber optic construction and quality control management. Fluent in english and spanish, proficient in civil work specifically concrete, general knowledge with working with specialty calibration tools. Also reading and maintaining blueprint and plans and maintaining quality through all the duration of the manufacturing and production process. Recently I dove into 3D printing automated construction and team management. With this experience i was able to learn about automated home construction and additive manufacturing. In my current role I am back to rapid prototyping and reasearch and developement of intergrating man kinds largest interplanetary vehicle.
