About Luis Chaves

Luis Chaves is a process expert with extensive experience in Digital Transformation projects that drive efficiency and process visibility. An Industrial Engineer by training, Luis also holds a Masters degree in Business Administration. Luis began his career working with a financial institution in Colombia, as a process engineer playing an active role in defining and implementing the corporate strategy. He then moved into Bizagi, which was specialized in developing and implementing solutions meant to increase efficiency in business processes. Began as a Senior Business Analyst, translating business needs into the technical requirements to deliver high impact software solutions in the financial, insurance, and telecommunication industry. Subsequently he took a Project Leader position that allowed him to manage teams and handle the relationship with the customer in order to ensure quality and create new business opportunities. He then moved to Oklahoma, United States to pursue his master’s degree. Concluding his studies, Luis started a company in the Food Industry where he structured the business plan and supply chain, but ended up stepping back because of uncontrollable variables that were affecting profitability. Since 2012, Luis has been back working with Bizagi, first as a Project Manager, and later in 2014 he started working with the Channel Management team in various roles. Currently he is still part of the Channel Management team as a Program Manager.
