About Luis Consengco

I am a 3rd-year Supply Chain Management student at the Asper School of Business and also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Completing a science degree taught me discipline, analytical thinking, and problem-solving, which I now apply to my work in supply chain and operations management. In my current role at StandardAero, I support cross-functional collaboration between engineering, operations, logistics, and supply chain teams to deliver accurate estimates, quotes, and invoices. I proactively monitor estimate-to-invoice variances (EIVA), compare engineering reports against invoices, and identify potential cost overruns — ensuring transparency, accuracy, and alignment across the project lifecycle. I also act as a liaison between external customers and internal teams, routing inquiries efficiently and communicating updates on pricing, estimates, and repair development costs with clarity and professionalism. One of my proudest accomplishments was leading the Engine Can Project at StandardAero. I developed a process to track high-value shipping containers, including CF34-3 and -8 engine cans, CFM dollies, and module crates. I also designed a leasing process that transferred liability and risk to customers, reducing inefficiencies, generating cost savings, and creating opportunities for new revenue streams. This initiative safeguarded company assets, strengthened customer relations, and optimized asset management. With a strong foundation in operations, process improvement, and customer service, I am passionate about driving efficiency and building sustainable solutions within supply chains. I am excited to continue developing my expertise in supply chain and project management while contributing to organizations that value innovation and continuous improvement.
