About Luis Gomes

I am a married man, father of a twenty years old boy and a fifteen years girl. They are the light of my life. Scuba diving is my hobby and i feel very happy when diving with sharks. I am a Portuguese / Mozambican civil engineering, with a large experience in Project management of projects founded by World Bank, African Development Bank, Islamic Bank and EDF. Currently, I am self employed and able to assist any contractor / employer which needs support on contractual matters. Dynamic change-maker with excellent leadership, teamwork, and diplomatic skills, and over 30 years of general experience. Out of all these years, 22 were performed as a Country Manager in Southern Africa, running an international contractor in the civil engineering area, performing infrastructure and agriculture projects (roads, hydraulics and bridges). I highlight the experience of 20 years as a senior-level Contract Manager of civil engineering projects, most of them in the FIDIC contractual environment. Focused on implementing programs timely and within budget, I combine a strong sense of leadership, communication and negotiation with the highest respect for gender and race diversification.
