About Luis Jauregui

Born and raised in Bolivia, I've spent the last decade in Costa Rica, with enriching experiences in the U.S. and Spain. My career spans manufacturing, consulting, and tech, where I've held finance and operations roles as both an analyst and manager. I specialize in scaling global operations, optimizing resources, and driving efficiency in complex logistical frameworks. Currently, I lead a global operations team across India and the U.S, providing 24/5 coverage for Databricks' training logistics. My team ensures the seamless execution of multilingual training sessions annually, enabling customer certification in Databricks products. Under my tenure, the team has grown from 8 to 17 members, supporting an increase in training deliveries and revenue growth. Through process automation, peer-to-peer validation, and data-driven strategies, I’ve enhanced quality control, operational accuracy, and scheduling optimization. Additionally, I led the transition of the Purchase Order (PO) and invoicing process for Authorized Training Providers (ATPs) to my team, implementing a streamlined invoicing workflow that will improve efficiency and oversight. I also partner with senior leadership to provide visibility and strategic recommendations on operational performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors to drive seamless execution. I hold a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering and an MBA, with advanced studies in Data Science and Analytics. I leverage SQL, Python, Power BI, and SAP to develop AI-powered BI dashboards, providing leadership with real-time operational insights for data-driven decision-making. Fluent in English and Spanish, with basic proficiency in Portuguese, I’m passionate about scaling teams, fostering collaboration, and leveraging technology to enhance operational excellence.
