Púb. de Navarra). Currently supervising another one. I have also supervised several Master Thesis. I published over 60 contributions in internationally recognized scientific journals and book editions, since 1987. The impact of my scientific production generated more than 600 citations in the Data Basis of Thomson Reuters WoK, with an h-index of 18. In Google Academics the number of citations grows to more than 1600, yielding an h-index 19. See my research in ResearchGate, too. Member of the editorial boards of Journal of Complexity (Elsevier, since 2004). Member of the Managing Board of Editors of Applicable Algebra in Eng. Comm. and Comput.(Springer, since 2019), where I worked as editor since 2014. I have edited 8 Special Issues of Journals and books. Chair or member of scientific committees of several relevant international conferences: ISSAC (2002, 2004, 2012), FoCM (2005, 2008, 2011), TC'2006, MEGA (2007, 2009), Santaló School 2012. Former member of the Board of Directors of Foundations of Computational Mathematics (2005-2015) and of the Comission 01 "Mathematics and Physics" of CNEAI (2013 and 2014). More than 5180 hours of undergraduate and graduate courses in Algebra, Algebraic Geometry, Theoretical Computer Science, Topology.
