About Luis MacHado

IT With a degree in Business Management, I have experienced all stages of software products manufacturing. I started as a simpler programmer to become an analyst, then to application designer and senior consultant. Meanwhile 16 years have been passed working, mostly on IBM platforms, in several business areas such as IBM Software Partner, Electrics Components Whole Sail, Pharmaceutical Industry, Insurance and Banking. Due to my personality (friendly, open minded, team spirit, client and results oriented) and to my area of scholarship (management) other skills have emerged and soon became a team leader. Project management was the next step, which I have well fulfilled. And I have finally experience the account management role. I have extensive knowledge of programming in IBM AS400 technology, COBOL, RPG, REXX, and CL and, due to my adventures in the banking system also acquired knowledge in MVS technology, MVS/COBOL and JCL. As I have studied and worked abroad I have experience working with people from different countries and cultures. Also as I have a brother with Down syndrome and do some volunteer work at nongovernmental Institutes for mentally handicapped people I also have experience in working with people with special needs To add to my skills I have the ability to learn quickly, I’m determined, pro-active, friendly and have excellent communication skills (in 3 languages). My hobbies are the financial markets and playing golf. Financial Markets Full time trader for the past months. Financial markets analyst by Ensine. 15 years as a financial market technical analyst and trader. Excellent knowledge of Saxo Bank and MT4 trading platforms. Good knowledge of MQL4 programming language.
