About Luis Mejer

I am currently an Audit Assistant at Deloitte & Touche. Prior to this, I attended Southern Methodist University and obtained a Master's of Science in Accounting. Previously I worked at Meador & Jones, LLP, as a Tax Associate, where my responsibilities included preparing individual and partnership tax returns, compiling of financial statements, and other tax consulting matters. Prior to this, I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. I have also been an Accounting Assistant at Acorn Health in Miami, FL, where I had multiple responsibilities including work on the general ledger and assisting the CFO and Head of Finance & Accounting with special projects. I spent my sophomore year and the following summer working at Cash Construction Company in Pflugerville, TX. My focus there was to assist members of the company in their projects as well as helping the Human Resources department in maintaining organization of incoming and exiting employees. Prior to moving to Austin, I held positions at 24/7 Nursing Care and Green Designs Landscaping as a bookkeeper.
