About Luis Mindiola

I am Luis Mindiola, a dedicated high school student in a dual enrollment program, balancing academics with my passion for volleyball and leadership. As a committed athlete, I understand the discipline, teamwork, and perseverance required to excel both on and off the court. Beyond sports, I serve as the Social Committee Vice President for Latinos in Action, where I help create engaging events that foster unity and cultural pride within my community. Through this role, I have developed strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills that allow me to connect with others and make a meaningful impact. My career goal is to become a massage therapist for the Long Beach State volleyball team, combining my love for sports with a desire to support athletes’ physical well-being. I am particularly interested in injury prevention, recovery techniques, and the role of sports therapy in enhancing performance. As I continue my academic and athletic journey, I look forward to gaining hands-on experience in sports therapy and working toward a future where I can help athletes stay at their peak.
