About Luis Monteiro

With a degree in Architecture and a postgraduate qualification in Strategic Marketing, with over 25 years of experience in the construction materials sector. Over the past 20 years, I have held Sales Manager positions, working closely with the Marketing department to define value-added proposals and market strategies. More recently, I took on the challenge of General Manager, a role that has allowed me to strengthen an even broader and more strategic vision of the business, enhancing coordination across all areas of the company and leading transformation processes aligned with growth and innovation goals. I approach every project with a strong sense of responsibility, commitment, and engagement. I consider myself reflective and analytical, with a strong focus on problem-solving and on achieving goals such as fully meeting the company’s objectives and building customer loyalty through differentiated service. I have a comprehensive view of the organisation, built on experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating key departments such as Commercial, Technical, Marketing, Production, and Innovation. Since taking on the role of General Manager, I have been deepening my knowledge in Health and Safety at Work, Quality and Environment, and Human Resources Management, which enables me to contribute to more sustainable management focused on people development and continuous improvement. I also possess in-depth knowledge of the Iberian construction market, with particular focus on the Portuguese distribution and installation sectors, as well as the entire strategic brand-building process – from product mix and specification to marketing and communication, delivery, and after-sales service.
