About Luis Munoz

I am a dedicated and driven student with a strong work ethic and a deep passion for learning, growth, and student success. I am pursuing a career in Higher Education where I can play an active role in fostering inclusive, empowering environments where all students feel seen, heard, and valued. My mission is to help create spaces where students recognize they are part of something transformative where their identity and potential are fully embraced. During my college journey, I served as president of two student organizations: Sessions: Love, Hip Hop & R&B and the Residence Hall Association (RHA). Through these roles, I helped establish lasting traditions such as a campus fashion show and a staff vs. students Game-A-Thon both of which enriched campus culture and built community. My long-term goal is to evolve Sessions from a student club into a mentorship program that uplifts underrepresented students and equips them to become leaders on campus and beyond. By integrating creative expression, community building, and mentorship, I aim to support students not just academically, but holistically helping them thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
