I am a current Senior at California State University, Northridge working towards my bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering. I am interested in Alternative Power Systems and Renewable energy. My Senior project is a filament extruder, in which we recycle HDPE from plastic bottles, and process it to create filament to be used for 3D printing. On the side, I have volunteer for the composite turbine team, where I helped them with preliminary calculations and Weibull distribution. Previously, I have worked as a Peer mentor, where I helped first generation students on their first year of community college, and ensure that they stayed within the STEM major.
