About Luis Paolini

I started my career working in Technology with a strong focus in Commercial Operations after finishing my degree in Business and Technology at the Buenos Aires Institute of Technology (ITBA).While finishing post-graduate studies in London, I wanted to apply more my business skills, so I started working in Business Development and Portfolio Management in the pharmaceutical industry. From then on I worked in many positions both in Tech and commercial in financial, technology and pharmaceutical companies.After many years in multi-national companies, both in Tech and Business positions, I was offered a position in one of Argentina's hottest tech startup as Head of Business Operations where I had the chance to experience the life of a digital nomad working remotely during 2018. During the time I worked there we went from 30 to 80 employees, achieved break even and later on the company raised USD 23M in A Series.After a brief experience as Digital & Innovation Manager for Novartis Argentina and Uruguay, I accepted the challenge to bring a new and radical startup (Drixit Technologies) from a little company (7 employees) to seed stage and have the first anchor customers. I left Drixit with 25 customers and series A ready to focus on education at the Buenos Aires institute of Technology where I changed the entire program in 4 years which caused an increase in student applications. I left ITBA in July 2024 to focus 100% in Metabase.I currently work on Metabase as a Success Engineer / Solutions architect helping customers achieve their goals with the platform.Certifications- AWS Solutions Architect - Associate- AWS certified trainer- Apache Airflow fundamentals
