I’m a Marine Corps veteran turned higher ed leader, passionate about building resilient organizations that serve people and protect data. At Florida International University, I lead Veteran and Military Affairs, making sure our military-connected students get the support, compliance, and advocacy they deserve. I have also served as President of FAVES, where I help shape statewide policy and training for veteran education specialists. My background blends cybersecurity, compliance, and strategic program management. I’ve worked with systems like PeopleSoft and OnBase, navigated regulations from FERPA to GDPR, and led teams through complex challenges. I’m currently pursuing an MBA in Cybersecurity Risk Management to deepen my impact — because I believe resilient institutions start with informed, inclusive leadership. Whether I’m mentoring staff, presenting to university leadership, or building cross-campus partnerships, I bring a mix of structure, empathy, and mission focus. I’m now exploring executive roles where I can scale that impact — integrating cybersecurity, compliance, and advocacy into institutional strategy.
