I have 16 years’ experience in Mineral Processing Plants in Maintenance and Production areas, most of the time on Site, developing projects to improve availability, processing rate and Metal recovery for some of the major Copper Concentrator units in the region as BHP Escondida, BHP Antamina, MMG Las Bambas, Glencore Antapaccay, in addition to other units for Tin, Lithium and Copper Cathodes Processing as Minsur, Marcobre, Albemarle Company among others. Before joining BHP I led a multidisciplinary team in a worldclass consultancy firm with the responsability of delivering Process Optimization projects. In my current role at BHP I have been leading projects of multidisciplinary teams in applying complex problem solving techniques joint to advanced data analytics, expert process and maintenance knowledge in order to increase production and reduce costs. In this role I have been responsible of identifying value generation opportunities, obtaining Site approval to initiate projects, delivery and technical guidance of approved projects, as well site stakeholders satisfaction, engagement and improvement of the collaborative relationship with them along the projects.
